Employer will provide Four Hundred-Eighty (480) hours of Family Wellness Leave (FWL) to Employees to care for themselves or an immediate family member with a serious health condition. Immediate family for the purposes of FWL, is defined as spouse/registered domestic partner, daughters and sons, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, mother-in-law, father-in-law and foster children Employer uses the definition of serious health condition found in the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). When implementing this Code, Employer may look to guidance regarding the definition of ‘serious health condition’ in the Federal Regulations (CFR) and related opinions issued by the Department of Labor (DOL).
