20.05.010 Purpose and Powers.

An Election Board is hereby authorized to be established, and will consist of nine (9) Members. The Election Board is authorized to:
(1) Conduct and supervise all General and Special Elections in accordance with the Cowlitz Tribal Code and the Tribe’s Constitution and By-Laws;
(2) Propose additional regulations to Tribal Council for approval, as necessary in order to carry out these activities; and
(3) Provide information and education about the Tribal Election Process to Tribal Members. [Res. 22-148, 2022.]
