20.06.020 Intention Declaration.

All prospective Candidates for the Tribal Council or General Council Officer must declare their intention to run for office by a date determined by the Election Board. Prospective Candidates may run for one elected position. To declare their intention, each individual must submit the following to the Election Board:
(1) A signed letter or email including the position for which the prospective Candidate intends to run and the prospective Candidate’s Tribal ID number;
(2) A signed form consenting to a Background Check;
(3) A candidate statement for the Voter Pamphlet. [Res. 22-148, 2022.]
