“Background Check” means research into an individual’s history to verify that the individual meets the eligibility criteria established in Article V Section 5 of the Constitution of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe and Title IV Section 1 of the By-Laws of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, including but not limited to criminal history based at least in part on information obtained from an impartial, third-party investigative agency [Res. 22-148, 2022.]
