(1) Any individual who serves on the Election Board may not run for a position on the Tribal Council during the individual’s term of service, unless the individual resigns from the Election Board prior to or at the time the individual declares their intention to run for Tribal Council with the Election Board.

(2) If a prospective Candidate is an Immediate Relative of an Election Board member, the Election Board member must immediately recuse themselves from all matters involving that Candidate, or any persons running in opposition to that Candidate, but the Election Board member may continue to serve on the Board.
