The executive council has the non-exclusive power to:

(1) Act as the official tribal representatives between tribal council meetings.

(2) Appoint staff to assist them in the execution of their duties, subject to tribal council confirmation.

(3) Appoint administrators to manage the official administrative bodies of the tribe, subject to tribal council confirmation. An administrator may be a person, a board, a standing committee, or an ad hoc committee.

(4) Set the agenda for general and tribal council meetings.

(5) Appoint key tribal volunteers and professional persons to advise, serve or work for the tribe in their area of expertise, subject to tribal council confirmation. Key volunteers or professionals may include but are not limited to a tribal accountant, archeologist, attorney, consultant, contractor, curator, historian, honorary chief, librarian, and spiritual leader.
