A police officer may make an arrest without warrant if the officer has probable cause to believe a person has committed an offense within the jurisdiction of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe or is named in an arrest warrant.

If a police officer makes an arrest without a warrant of a person for an offense, the person arrested must be taken without unnecessary delay before the judge for an initial appearance. Afterwards, the prosecutor shall file a complaint in the Court and shall serve a copy of the complaint on the defendant at or before the time they are arraigned. The defendant may be admitted to bail prior to the filing of the complaint.
