(1) Limitations. No person owning or having control or custody of any dog shall allow such dog to run at large within the boundaries of the Cowlitz Indian Reservation.

(2) Seizure. Any dog found running at large shall be subject to seizure by the animal control authority.

(a) Owners of animals/dogs seized and held will be responsible for daily holding fees. No animals will be released unless the fee is paid in full. Animals will be held at either the Cowlitz Department of Public Safety or the Clark County animal control shelter.

(3) Stray Dogs. The animal control authority shall seize stray dogs, of undetermined ownership, and dispose of such dogs through adoption or destruction of such dogs.

(4) Animal Control Authority Unable to Safely Seize. Any dog of fierce, dangerous or vicious propensities found running at large that cannot be safely seized may be destroyed by the animal control authority.
