A corporation formed under this Chapter may establish in its articles of incorporation or by-laws, or in a shareholders’ agreement, a date at which an annual meeting of shareholders shall be held, if called, and if not so established, the date shall be the first Saturday in March. Unless otherwise provided in the articles of incorporation, no annual meeting need be held unless a written request therefore is delivered to the shareholders by the board of directors or delegated authority of the corporation not less than 30 days before the date specified for the meeting.
