Chapter 31.61 APPEALS

The Tribal Court is empowered to hear appeals. When hearing an appeal, the Court of Appeals shall consist of a panel of three judges. The Court of Appeals shall not include the judge from whose decision the appeal is taken.

(1) Right to Appeal. Any aggrieved party may seek review of a final order or judgment of the Trial Court. An aggrieved party may seek appellate review of all other actions or decisions of the Trial Court by obtaining permission in a manner consistent with the rules of civil procedure described in Chapter 31.21 CTC.

(2) Finality. All decisions of the Court of Appeals are final and non-appealable in Tribal Court. [Res. 24-44, 2024.]
