SECTION 1. The Cowlitz Tribal Council is formed as a representative body to conduct the business of the Tribe on behalf of the Cowlitz General Council.

SECTION 2. The Cowlitz Tribal Council shall consist of the general council chair, the general council vice-chair, the general council secretary, the general council treasurer and eighteen (18) additional members elected at large from the General Council, creating a total of twenty-two (22) members on the Tribal Council.

SECTION 3. The Cowlitz Tribal Council shall elect from its own membership a tribal council chair, a tribal council vice-chair and a tribal council secretary.

SECTION 4. The Cowlitz Tribal Council may appoint such other officers and committees as may be necessary to conduct the business of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe.
