Article III. General Council
This article is included in your selections.
SECTION 1. The Ultimate authority of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe shall rest with the Cowlitz General Council.
SECTION 2. The General Council of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe shall consist of all duly enrolled members of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe.
SECTION 3. The General Council of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe shall elect a general council chair, a general council vice-chair, a general council secretary and a general council treasurer to represent the tribe and, in coordination with the Tribal Council, to act in matters which may involve the welfare of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, and to make decisions not inconsistent with, or contrary to, this constitution.
